By purchasing a costume from Hype Mas, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. All Sales Are Final
All package purchases are final. Once an order has been placed, no refunds or exchanges will be permitted. This applies to deposits, instalment payments, and full payments.
2. No Order Changes
Once a costume, T-shirt or Swimsuit order has been submitted, no changes can be made. This includes changes to costume size, section, options, add-ons. Customers are responsible for ensuring all information is correct before completing their purchase.
3. Payment Plans
Customers selecting a payment plan agree to complete all scheduled payments by the stated deadlines. Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in loss of costume allocation. All payments made remain non-refundable.
4. Costume Design & Colour Variations
All promotional images are representations of the final costume design. While every effort will be made to match the designs shown, colours, fabrics, embellishments, and finishes may vary slightly due to material availability and production requirements.
5. Production Adjustments
Hype Mas reserves the right to make minor adjustments to costume design, materials, or embellishments where necessary to maintain quality, durability, and production timelines.
6. Costume Collection
Costumes must be collected during the official costume distribution period. Collection dates, times, and locations will be communicated in advance. Hype Mas is not responsible for uncollected costumes after the official distribution period.
7. Event Changes or Circumstances Beyond Control
Hype Mas will not be held responsible for changes, delays, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, government regulations, safety decisions, or force majeure events. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
8. Road Delays & Parade Conditions
Carnival is a live public event and may involve road delays, route adjustments, crowd congestion, or schedule changes determined by event organisers or local authorities. Hype Mas cannot guarantee specific parade timings or road conditions.
9. Costume Wear & Damage
Costumes are designed for carnival presentation and parade use. Due to the nature of carnival events, costumes may experience normal wear, movement, or minor damage during the parade. Hype Mas is not responsible for damage that occurs during the event once costumes have been distributed.
10. Personal Conduct & Alcohol Responsibility
All masqueraders are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully during all Hype Mas events. Hype Mas reserves the right to remove any participant from the band without refund if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or violates event guidelines. Individuals remain personally responsible for their consumption of alcohol and their conduct during carnival activities.
11. Personal Responsibility & Liability
Participation in carnival events involves large crowds, outdoor environments, and physical activity. By participating with Hype Mas, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Hype Mas, its directors, staff, and affiliates are not liable for injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during events.
12. Photography & Media
By participating with Hype Mas, you grant permission for photographs and videos taken during events to be used for marketing, promotional, and media purposes without compensation.
